NPFL: Yusuf reacts to Shooting Stars’ loss to Warri Wolves

Daily Post 1 day 1 mins read

Shooting Stars technical adviser, Salisu Yusuf, has attributed his team’s defeat to Warri Wolves to poor finishing.

The Oluyole Warriors suffered a 1-0 defeat to Warri Wolves in Ozoro on Sunday.

Othuke Egbo struck in the seventh minute to give the Seasiders an early lead.

Warri Wolves held on to their advantage for the remainder of the encounter.

Yusuf assured that the team would work on its lapses ahead of subsequent matches.

“We have the opportunity but we couldn’t score,” Yusuf told 3SCFANTV.

“We will work on our finishing and I believe the team will come good.”

Shooting Stars will lock horns with Enyimba in their next league encounter in Aba.
