Osun: APC Campaign DG Queries Adeleke’s Education, AMBO Gets Support

The Director-General of the  All Progressives Congress (APC) Campaign Organisation, Hon. Wole Oke, yesterday, questioned Governor Ademola Adeleke’s educational qualification, alleging that the governor lacked the academic requisite to govern effectively.

He, however, maintained that Osun people deserved a competent, visionary and educated leader.

According to him, “Don’t vote for a governor who can’t read or write. Rather, vote for competence and someone with a good educational background,” Oke added.

He urged residents and Stakeholders of Awo in Egbedore Local Government Area of Osun State to vote massively for the APC governorship candidate, Asiwaju Munirudeen Bola Oyebamiji (AMBO), in the August 15 governorship election.

Speaking at the party’s campaign rally in Awo, Oke called on the people of Egbedore to unite behind the APC candidate, saying the election presented an opportunity to usher in a new direction for Osun State.

Oke said the APC was determined to reclaim Osun State, recalling that the party lost Egbedore Local Government in the 2023 election.

He appealed to voters to correct what he described as the mistake of the last election by delivering overwhelming votes for Oyebamiji.

According to him, the APC has gained significant momentum across the state, citing the large turnout of supporters at campaign rallies in Ede and Awo as evidence that the party is on course for victory.

The campaign director-general reiterated that the governor lacked the educational capacity required to govern effectively and argued that Osun deserved competent and visionary leadership.

Earlier, Oyebamiji assured residents that better days lay ahead if he elected governor.

He promised to provide good governance, improve infrastructure, create employment opportunities and implement people-oriented programmes that would improve the welfare of residents across the state.
