Osun: ‘You deserve it’ – Adeleke’s followers hit him over fresh alarm

Daily Post about 2 hours 2 mins read

Reactions have continued to trail recent alarm raised by the Osun State Governor and the Accord Party candidate for the August 15 gubernatorial election over alleged violence against his supporters.

DAILY POST reports that the governor had on Monday alleged that extrajudicial killings were occurring in the state, calling on President Bola Tinubu not to look away.

Adeleke, who spoke in Osogbo, the state capital, while addressing the governorship campaign rally of the Accord Party for Olorunda Local Government Area, posted a clip from the event on his X handle.

However, some of his followers stormed the comment section to remind the governor of his past mistakes of attempting to align with the president.

While urging him to face his fate and stop crying foul, the commenters ruled out any possible intervention from the president.

Here are some of the reactions on X.

@OlanFab: Adeleke deserves every treatment is getting from Tinubu. Someone is suffering your administration, doesn’t allow you control local government yet you said you must support him because of Tinubu you avoided joining any major opposition. Now it’s time for you to face your fate alone.

@yinka_george: Your Excellency @AAdeleke_01  the people you are contesting with do not care if you call Donald Trump, they want to win at all cost and set sun back to “good” old days of half salary. Please be a step ahead of them, if not O tilo. A word is enough Sir.

@omohdanny: He does not care if everyone is k^lled, you are appealing to a man who just told you that “all is fair in politics”. Mobilize your people as well “aura for aura” madness for madness “, you are fighting against a demonic and satanic establishment, how do you appeal to the devil?

@LanrexAfeez: Omoh this governor is frustrated. You shouldn’t have withheld osun security votes, that might have given you osun police but you fuck-up Na your people dey chop the money. Na there you loose guard your commands on osun police.

@SolomonPhi46310: You just need to work with seyi makinde and obi for tinubu not to return to power.

@OluwasegunAgbo7: Hold that you cuck. You openly endorsed the old, frail, geriatric megalomaniac. Go and cry elsewhere if you can’t uphold and supervise free fair and credible elections in the state where you’re the CSO.
