The 2027 Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC, presidential candidate, Peter Obi, has explained the major reason many countries deny Nigerians visas.
Speaking at a town hall meeting in Port Harcourt, Rivers State on Thursday, Obi said no rich man will open their door for poor people.
According to him, Nigeria will not remain the same when he is done transforming the country.
“No rich man will open their door for poor people, that’s why many countries are denying Nigerian visas.
“By the time we are done reforming Nigeria, Nigerians won’t like to be travelling outside like now. Even when they apply for a visa, they can easily get it,” he said.
DAILY POST reports that the former Anambra State governor is flying the NDC flag in the forthcoming 2027 presidential elections with ex-Kano State governor, Rabi’u Kwankwaso, as his running mate.
The duo left the African Democratic Congress, ADC, in May for the NDC, citing internal divisions and court cases.
