Phyna knocks out Nkechi Blessing, emerges champion in celebrity boxing bout

Former Big Brother Naija reality show winner, Phyna, has defeated actress, Nkechi Blessing by a fourth-round technical knockout in their celebrity boxing bout in Lagos.

The fight took place on Thursday at the Federal Palace Hotel, Lagos, as part of Balmoral’s ‘Chaos in the Ring’ event.

The organiser announced Phyna as the winner after she secured a technical knockout in the fourth round.

“After an incredible Independence Day celebration and chaos in the ring, we do have our winner for the first-ever female celebrity bout in the history of Chaos in the Ring,” the organiser said.

It added, “A fourth-round technical knockout, your new champion is Phyna.”

The victory came after Phyna and Nkechi Blessing had engaged in a public clash before agreeing to face each other in the ring.

Phyna’s victory makes her the winner of the first female celebrity bout in the history of the ‘Chaos in the Ring’ event.
