Nigerian dancer and singer, Iweh Pascal Odinaka, popularly known as Poco Lee, has been released after spending several weeks in detention in the United Kingdom over an alleged sexual assault case.
Poco Lee’s release comes weeks after reports emerged that he had been arrested in the UK in connection with an allegation of sexual assault.
His management had earlier confirmed that the matter was before a UK court, while urging the public to allow the legal process to take its course.
The management also cautioned against treating the allegations as facts, stressing that the entertainer had not been convicted of any offence.
The team had further dismissed reports linking the case to alleged drink-spiking, saying such claims were not contained in the allegations before the court.
However, a post circulating on social media indicates that the dancer has been released.
A netizen on Instagram with username lifedramar posted “Freedom at last! guilty.
