Police arrest six suspected armed robbers on Kintampo-Tamale highway

The Bono East Regional Police Command has arrested six suspected armed robbers and recovered GH cent;300,000 during a targeted security operation on the Kintampo-Tamale Highway. The suspects were apprehended on Sunday, July 19, 2026, along the Kintampo-Portor stretch of the highway following a joint operation involving police patrol personnel and the Counter-Terrorism Unit.
