Police in the Prampram Division of the Tema Region have arrested two persons after 692 parcels of substance suspected to be Indian hemp were intercepted at a snap checkpoint at Dawhenya. The suspects, identified as Freeman Amedoku and Godwin Asigeh, were arrested in the early hours of Tuesday, September 8, 2026, while travelling in an Accra-bound Ford Transit vehicle with registration number GT 6140-22.
