Police arrest two suspects over alleged kidnap plot in Delta

Operatives of Abraka Division along side members of Civilian Anti-Cult Operatives in Ethiope-East Local Government Area of Delta State have arrested two suspects over an alleged kidnap plot. 

The suspects, Endurance Akpade, aged 37 years, and Edwin Friday Morgan, aged 43 years, were arrested on 1st October 2026. 

Delta State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Bright Edafe, confirmed the report in a statement in Warri. 

The Police Spokesman said, “On 1st October 2026, at about 1730hrs, Abraka Division received a report concerning an alleged conspiracy to kidnap a woman in Abraka. 

“Following credible intelligence, Endurance Akpade ‘m’, aged 37 years, and Edwin Friday Morgan ‘m’, aged 43 years,were apprehended by operatives of Abraka division alongside members of the civilian anti-cult operatives and subsequently taken into Police custody.”

SP Edafe noted that,”The suspects are assisting with the ongoing investigation.”
