The Upper West Regional Police Command has intercepted 50,000 rounds of ammunition being transported through an unapproved route outside Wa, leading to the arrest of three suspects. The suspects, identified as Alhassan Issahaku, Iddrisu Mashood and Alhaji Issahaku, were arrested on Monday, June 29, after police stopped and searched a commercial vehicle suspected to be transporting the ammunition illegally.
