Portugal: Shame, you’re very bad – Vidal attacks Jesus over Cristiano Ronaldo

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Former Barcelona midfielder, Arturo Vidal, has hit out at Portugal coach, Jorge Jesus over the way he handled the Cristiano Ronaldo situation.

Speaking on his stream, Vidal labelled Jesus as ‘shame and very bad,’ insisting that the Portugal manager should have protected Ronaldo.

Ronaldo recently left the Portugal national team camp amid the ongoing UEFA Nations League.

The 41-year-old disclosed that he would reveal the truth behind the exit in the coming days.

“It’s a real shame. I think the coach is very bad,” Vidal said while speaking on the development.

“You have to take care of Cristiano, protect him, a player who gave everything to Portugal, who placed the country as one of the best teams in the world.

“A player like that can’t leave like that. Cristiano has the right to do whatever he wants. What made football and the Portuguese national team was to take them to another level,” he said.
