Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Benin national team defender, Mohamed Tijani has revealed what he will tell Argentina’s Lionel Messi when both teams clash in an international friendly today.

Argentina will face Benin at the Estadio Mâs Monumental in Buenos Aires, and the friendly encounter will serve as Messi’s final international match for Argentina.

Recall that Messi had announced his retirement from the Argentina national team.

Speaking ahead of Argentina’s clash with Benin, Tijani said he would tell Messi that he is a ‘god’ in football.

According to Argentine media outlet MinutoUno, Tijani, who was interviewed by C5N, said, “There is no need to specifically mark Messi. We just need to enjoy the game.

“I will look at him and say, ‘Messi, you are God.’ He is the best player in the world.”
