Cristiano Ronaldo returned to action in style on Friday, scoring as Al Nassr secured a comfortable 4-0 victory over Al Riyadh.

The Portugal international began the game on the bench before coming on in the second half as Al Nassr maintained their dominance.

Al Amri opened the scoring for the visitors in the 18th minute, giving Al Nassr the lead before the break.

Angelo extended the advantage shortly after half-time, finding the net in the 46th minute. Joao Felix then added a third in the 58th minute to put the result beyond doubt.

Ronaldo completed the scoring in the 83rd minute, finishing off a well-worked move after being set up by Yahya.

The goal, according to football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, was Ronaldo’s 977th career goal.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner had been left out of Al Nassr’s starting XI in their previous fixture and watched from the stands as the club defeated Al Fateh.

His return to the pitch and immediate contribution will further boost Al Nassr as they continue their campaign in Saudi football.
