Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu of Lagos State has approved the appointment of Professor Badejo Ayodeji Olawumi (Nee Faji) as Vice- Chancellor of the Lagos State University, LASU, Ojo.
State Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Gbebga Omotoso, announced the appointment on Wednesday.
Prof. Badejo, a Professor of Guidance and Counselling, was born on August 4, 1962.
She obtained a PhD in Guidance and Counselling from the University of Lagos (UNILAG) and an M. Ed. (Guidance and Counselling) UNILAG.
Badejo succeeds Professor Ibijoke Olatunji-Bello, who is retiring after the expiration of her five-year tenure.
