Serie A: Chukwueze ready to flourish in new Milan role

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Samuel Chukwueze has embraced his new role under AC Milan head coach, Ruben Amorim, DAILY POST reports.

Chukwueze starred in Milan’s pre-season friendly win over Manchester United in Wroclaw last weekend.

The Nigeria international registered one goal and two assists in the 4-2 victory.

The 27-year-old has been deployed in a wing-back position by Amorim.

Chukwueze said it is up to him to seize the opportunity and become a regular in the team.

“So I just have to keep working hard, believing in myself and that I can do it. For me, it’s an opportunity I have to seize.

“I know it’s a difficult task, but I believe in myself. I know I can do it, that I can do anything,” Chukwueze told La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The winger spent last season on loan with Premier League club Fulham.
