Serie A:Okoye reflects on Udinese’s defeat against Inter Milan

Udinese goalkeeper, Maduka Okoye, has admitted that Inter Milan deserved their victory over his team in Monday night’s Serie A encounter, DAILY POST reports.

The defending champions rallied from two goals down to beat the visitors 5-3 at the San Siro.

Okoye made a number of superb saves in the thrilling contest but it was not enough to stop Inter from securing maximum points.

The Nigeria international claimed the Nerazzurri were too strong for Udinese.

“It’s always difficult against Inter at San Siro. They play very attacking, they don’t stop even after scoring three or four goals. We also had our chances, but they are too strong,” Okoye told the club’s official website.

The Zebras currently occupy 13th position in the table with four points from four games.

They will host Cagliari in their next Serie A game at Bluenergy Stadium on Saturday.
