Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has opened up about why he often calls out some of the biggest names in the Nigerian music industry, including Davido, Wizkid, Olamide and Burna Boy.
According to the singer, his attacks are not necessarily out of hatred, but rather his own way of seeking their attention and wanting to associate with them.
Portable said, “If you see me drag Olamide, the reason is because I want to chill with him. If you see me drag Wizkid, I want to chill with him. If you see me drag Davido, I want to spend his money.”
He went on to acknowledge the contributions of Davido, Burna Boy, Olamide and Wizkid, saying the four superstars have helped give other artistes a platform to shine.
However, Portable questioned why some established Fuji musicians have not done the same for upcoming Fuji artistes.
He specifically mentioned K1 De Ultimate, Pasuma and Saheed Osupa, arguing that they should do more to support and promote younger talents in the Fuji music scene.
