‘Song wey no be your own’ — Wande Coal drags Davido over unreleased verse

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Nigerian singer Oluwatobi Ojosipe, popularly known as Wande Coal, has fired back at colleague, Davido, following a revelation regarding why his viral verse on the hit track, ‘Come My Way’, was never officially released.

The development was disclosed in a post shared on Wande Coal’s official X handle.

Reacting to Davido’s remarks on the unreleased track, Wande Coal expressed frustration over attempts to dictate how his record should be put out, pointing out that the song already had a structured release strategy before any external input.

Blasting the DMW label boss online, Wande Coal wrote:

“Carry song come give you as how? Song wey been get release plan and date!!! Song wey no be your own you wan dictate release plan. That song fuckin did well without you on it bruv!!”
