Sophia Anaba enters new chapter with relaunch of beauty, fashion brands

Entrepreneur and microbiologist, Sophia Anaba is entering a new chapter with the relaunch of Sophia Affairs, a platform centred on beauty and aesthetics, alongside the return of her fashion collection, now reintroduced as Ventinove Royalty.

The fashion collection will be officially relaunched on October 13, marking a significant moment in Anaba’s evolution as an entrepreneur and brand builder.

For Anaba, the move represents more than a return to fashion. It is a deliberate expression of personal growth, purpose and reinvention, reflecting the woman she has become and the experiences that have shaped her journey.

“I learnt not to live someone else’s dreams, but to build what belongs to me,” Anaba said. “I was inspired to relaunch Sophia Affairs, centred on beauty aesthetics, alongside the return of my fashion collection, now reintroduced as Ventinove Royalty.”

The relaunch brings together two areas that reflect Anaba’s entrepreneurial vision: beauty and fashion. Sophia Affairs is being repositioned around beauty and aesthetics, while Ventinove Royalty signals the return of her fashion offering with a renewed identity and sense of purpose.

Anaba’s entrepreneurial journey has been shaped by a belief that women should not have to choose between professional careers and business ownership. Her background in microbiology, environmental health and exposure to diverse business environments broadened her perspective on what women can build for themselves.

That philosophy forms the foundation of what she describes as the “Dual Focus Approach”, the intentional decision to pursue both a career and a business. According to Anaba, a professional career and an entrepreneurial venture can complement one another, providing opportunities for growth, connection and resilience.

It is a philosophy that also informed her work with Finding Esther, a community created to positively engage women across different careers and businesses who desire to live purposeful lives.

Through the relaunch of Sophia Affairs and the return of Ventinove Royalty, Anaba is now extending that philosophy into beauty and fashion.
