Climate-related disasters are increasing the risks of child marriage, teenage pregnancy and violence against girls, according to a new global study by Plan International. The research examined three decades of health and climate data from 52 low- and middle-income countries, alongside a survey of 5,000 girls and young women aged 15 to 24 in Bangladesh, Kenya, Peru, Senegal and Zimbabwe.
