Super Falcons interim head coach Augustine Eguavoen has selected 28 players for the team’s 2028 Olympic Games qualifying fixtures against Comoros.
Captain Rasheedat Ajibade headlines the squad alongside regulars like Chiamaka Nnadozie, Asisat Oshoala, Oluwatosin Demehin, Jennifer Echegini and Michelle Alozie.
Versatile defender Ashleigh Plumptre is making a return to the team after missing the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations due to injury.
There are also youngsters like Christiana Uzoma, Farida Abdulwahab, Tumininu Adeshina, Favour Nkwocha, Shakirat Moshood, Oluwakemi Adegbuyi, and Janet Akekoromowei.
The players have been instructed to report at the AM2PM Hotel, Ijebu-Ode on Saturday, 3rd October.
Both matches will be played at the Remo Stars Sports Stadium, Ikenne-Remo, as Comoros does not have a CAF-approved venue for international games.
The first leg is slated for Friday, 9 October, while the return is scheduled for Tuesday, 13 October.
