Nigeria’s female national team Super Falcons have called up 28 players to execute the upcoming second round of the 2027 Olympics qualifier against Comoros.
The list released by the NFF on Tuesday sees acting Head Coach Austin Eguavoen invite a mix of core players and youngsters to prosecute the two-legged encounter to be played at the Remo Stars stadium in Ikenne-Remo, Ogun State.
Captain Rasheedat Ajibade headlines the list alongside veteran Asisat Oshoala also called up.
Ashleigh Plumptre who missed WAFCON 2026 due to injury also returns in defence.
Chiamaka Nnadozie continues in goal, while Gloria Alozie, Oluwatosin Demehin, Jennifer Echegini, Gift Monday and Joy Omewa are also experienced heads in the mix.
Additionally, six under-20 players were injected into the squad, including four players that featured at the 2026 FIFA U-20 World Cup.
They are Farida Abdulwahab, Tumininu Adeshina, Favour Nkwocha, Christiana Uzoma, Janet Akekoromowei, and Joy Igbokwe. Flamingos Under-17 gem Oluwakemi Adegbuyi who shone at the WAFU B under-17 women’s tournament in Ivory Coast was also called up for the Olympics qualifier series.
The first leg will be played on October 9, with the second leg slated for October 13, and camp will open in Ijebu-Ode on October 3.
