Tanoso youth grabbed Chief over alleged illegal mining activities near Tano River

Some youth of Tanoso have reportedly arrested the Tanoso Ankobeahene, Nana Amoako Atta, and handed him over to the police for his alleged involvement in illegal mining activities near the Tano River. The incident reportedly occurred after residents allegedly caught the traditional leader transporting sacks containing mineral-bearing stones and sand from an illegal mining site to the palace.
