Tinubu 2027: BTO Support group credits Interior Minister, for grassroots momentum in Ondo

By Dayo Johnson Akure

The BTO for PBAT ’27 Support Group has credited the Minister of Interior, Dr. Olubunmi Tunji-Ojo, for energising its grassroots campaign for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu in 2027.

The group said its expanding structure across Ondo State has been largely driven by the minister’s leadership, open-door politics and focus on grassroots development.

In a statement on Monday by its Director-General, Ogbeni Adojutelegan Adesuyi Gideon, the support group said Tunji-Ojo’s relevance goes beyond his cabinet role, describing him as a rallying figure who has helped to foster unity and deepen loyalty within the APC in the state.

The DG noted that the minister’s people-centred and result-driven approach has boosted the morale of members of the BTO political family and strengthened support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

He added that Tunji-Ojo’s insistence on discipline, service, loyalty and cohesion has anchored the group’s mobilisation strategy.

According to him, “Hon. Tunji-Ojo has shown that true leadership is not just about holding office, but about building people, strengthening institutions, opening up opportunities and driving collective progress.

“His accessibility, commitment to grassroots growth and capacity to unite diverse interests have made him a rallying point for our movement in Ondo State.

“We are confident that his leadership will continue to galvanise support for President Tinubu’s second-term bid and ensure victory for the APC in 2027.”
