Tinubu’s media aide blasts Rufai as TV host shares old video of him ‘linking Shettima to terrorism’

Daily Post 1 day 2 mins read

Daniel Bwala, Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu has slammed Arise TV Show host, Rufai Oseni for sharing an old video of him, attacking the president and other top government officials.

Rufai had posted on his official X handle, an old video of Bwala, where the latter stated that Tinubu did not build Lagos State as widely claimed, naming the president a tax collector.

However, in a swift response, Bwala also took to his X handle to lambast the On Air Personality, describing him as a fake news peddler.

He said, “barely one hour after my interview with @seunokin, a major spokesman for peter Obi @ruffydfire whose fortune today relies on hate, vitriol and fake news peddled through his media outlets generating revenue from the ignorance and gullibility of a set of people has engaged in his x handle to troll and generate revenue.

“That is his MO. Blood money is not only acquired through cultism and rituals, it is also acquired through taking advantage of the gullibility of the Obidient to generate, followers, Trafic, viewership by promoting hate, vitriol and fake news”.

Shortly after Bwala’s post, Rufai again, shared another old video of the presidential aide, where the latter allegedly linked the Vice President, Kashim Shettima to terrorism.

In the video, Bwala, who was answering questions on Channels TV program, alleged that Shettima “was the governor around the time when Governor Wike sitting as a presiding Minister wrote a letter about fear based on a security report that students preparing for examination should be relocated to the capital city because of insecurity.

“There was a security report at the time but he ignored the security report and that was how the Chibok girls were kidnapped.

“He was the governor when the man who masterminded the Madala bombing was found in Borno Government Lodge”.

In the old video, Bwala was asked if he was proud of Shettima and he outrightly said “no, I’m not”.
