Transfer: Barcelona identify three strikers to sign as Alvarez’s alternatives

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Barcelona have identified three strikers to sign as alternatives to Atletico Madrid’s Julian Alvarez.

Alvarez remains Barcelona’s preferred striker target in this summer’s transfer window, but the move to bring him to Camp Nou is proving increasingly complicated.

Atletico Madrid are refusing to let go of the Argentina international, and as a result, Barcelona are now considering alternatives, including Sporting Lisbon forward Luis Suarez, Inter Milan’s Lautaro Martinez and Villarreal’s Georges Mikautadze, as reported by The Sun.

Suarez, Lautaro and Mikautadze are all doing well for their respective clubs.

Barcelona are still keen to sign a top striker following Robert Lewandowski’s departure from the club.
