Transfer: Carvajal agrees deal to join Real Madrid’s LaLiga rivals

Dani Carvajal has reached an agreement to join Getafe as a free agent.

The 34-year-old defender has already undergone medicals tests and is only waiting for approval from LaLiga.

Carvajal left Real Madrid at the end of his contract this summer and has been without a club ever since.

He is now set to continue his career in the Spanish topflight.

Football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, wrote on X: “Getafe have reached verbal agreement to sign Dani Carvajal, here we go!

“The medical tests have been completed and the club is ready for announcement — only waiting for LaLiga’s approval on Financial Fair Play limits.

“Carvajal said yes to Getafe — as ABC reported.”
