Former Arsenal star, Jack Wilshere, has urged defender, Myles Lewis-Skelly to fight for his shirt at the club and not leave Mikel Arteta’s side.
Lewis-Skelly has reportedly emerged as a transfer target for Manchester United this summer transfer window.
The 19-year-old versatile player has enjoyed a meteoric rise at Arsenal over the past two seasons.
However, his position at the club remains unresolved ahead of the new season.
“He [Lewis-Skelly] obviously found his way at the end of the season playing in the Champions League final, in my opinion, in his best position,” Wilshere told Sky Sports.
“I would like to see him stay and fight for it because I believe he is good enough to find his way in that team. I believe he can do that.”
