Manchester City manager, Enzo Maresca, has said that the club’s recruit, Jeremy Monga, made the right choice to turn down Arsenal and sign for the Cityzens.
Monga recently snubbed Arsenal to join Man City from Leicester City.
The 17-year-old attacker was being pursued by both the Gunners and City this summer.
Speaking on Monga’s decision to join Man City over Arsenal, Maresca said, as quoted by City Xtra on X, “What the club and organisation have made in the last 10, 15 years is unbelievable.
“So it’s also, for the young generation or young players, a good reason to join this club. And I think Jeremy made the right choice,” he said.
Monga will hope to get more regular playing time under Maresca when the new season begins.
