Transfer: Maja set to join Le Havre on two-year contract

Nigerian striker, Josh Maja is on the verge of joining Ligue 1 club, Le Havre on a free transfer, DAILY POST reports.

Maja left Sky Bet Championship club West Bromwich Albion last month following the expiration of his contract.

The 27-year-old, who spent three years at the Hawthorns turned down a new contract offer from the club.

According to reports in France, the striker is now set to sign a two-year contract at Le Havre with the option of another year.

Maja once played in France for Girondins Bordeaux.

He was on the books of the Navy and Whites for four years, scoring 25 goals in 85 league appearances.
