Manchester United have discussed making a summer transfer move to sign Brentford striker, Igor Thiago as they look to sell Joshua Zirkzee before the new season starts.
Man United signed Zirkzee from Bologna in a £36.5million deal two years ago.
But the Dutch attacker has scored just nine goals in 75 appearances for the Red Devils.
However, according to football transfer expert Ben Jacobs, Thiago is a name under consideration at Old Trafford as Zirkzee has been linked with a move to Juventus.
“Igor Thiago has been discussed as somebody who’s Premier League ready,” Jacobs told The United Stand.
‘Nothing more than that at this stage, more of an internal conversation and a normal player call to understand his situation.
“Getting him out this summer is going to be incredibly difficult.”
