Galatasaray striker, Victor Osimhen, is likely to get his preferred number nine shirt if he joins Arsenal this summer.
Osimhen’s name has come up in transfer conversations between the two clubs.
The Turkish champions have big offers from Atletico Madrid and Al-Hilal so far.
But while negotiating for Arsenal’s duo of Ethan Nwaneri and Gabriel Martinelli, the possibility of Osimhen signing for the Premier League champions has been discussed.
Mikel Arteta is in the market for a striker following Viktor Gyokeres’ mixed debut campaign and Gabriel Jesus’ imminent departure.
Jesus currently wears the number nine shirt, but could be joining Napoli in a few weeks.
This could free up the number for Osimhen who also wears it for the Nigerian national team.
