Transfer: Rodri’s agent confirms why Spain midfielder picked Barcelona over Real Madrid

Rodri’s agent, Barquero, has confirmed why his client picked Barcelona over Real Madrid.

The Manchester City star has agreed personal terms with Barcelona ahead of a proposed summer move despite interest from Real Madrid.

The Blaugrana sent the contract details to Rodri’s agent, and he has accepted the offer.

However, according to Fabrizio Romano, Rodri snubbed Real Madrid for Barcelona based on a personal decision.

“BREAKING: Rodri’s agent confirms he’s picked Barcelona over Real Madrid,” Romano posted on X.

“Out of respect for Madrid, as they have been class, Rodri informed them that his decision is to join Barça, quotes from his agent Barquero reported by @ellarguero. Personal terms, 100% agreed.”
