Transfer: Three strikers to leave Chelsea as Welbeck arrives

Danny Welbeck’s arrival at Chelsea this summer could see up to three strikers leaving the Premier League club.

The 35-year-old is scheduled to undergo his medicals this week ahead of a move from Brighton.

New Blues boss, Xabi Alonso, has decided to bring in Welbeck for his experience.

Welbeck, who scored 13 league goals last season, will sign a contract until 2028 at Stamford Bridge.

According to the Daily Mail, Welbeck’s arroval could affect the future of other strikers at Chelsea.

The current rooster of Chelsea strikers include Liam Delap, Emmanuel Emegha, Nicolas Jackson, Marc Guiu and Joao Pedro.

Pedro is considered untouchable and not for sale, but at least two or three of those five players would have to be sold or loaned out.
