Arsenal legend, Paul Merson, has named the player the Gunners should sign over Real Madrid’s Vinicius Junior.
According to Merson, Arsenal should sign Paris Saint-Germain’s Bradley Barcola because Vinicius is ‘playing’ the Premier League champions because he wants a new contract at Real Madrid.
Arsenal have been linked with a move for Vinicius this summer transfer window after the Brazilian international entered the final 12 months of his contract at the Los Blancos.
“Vinicius Junior is just looking for a new contract at Real Madrid. He’s playing Arsenal,” Merson said in his Sky Sports column.
“But this is where Arsenal are now. This is the market they are in.
“If Arsenal don’t get Vinicius, then they have to get Bradley Barcola.”
