Trump warns Iran to ‘get serious’ as talks continue over Middle East conflict

Daily Post March 26, 2026 1 mins read

United States President Donald Trump has issued a stern warning to Iran, urging its leaders to urgently engage in negotiations aimed at ending the ongoing Middle East conflict.

In a post on Truth Social on Thursday, Trump said Iranian officials must act quickly or risk facing severe consequences.

“They better get serious soon, before it is too late. There is no turning back, and it won’t be pretty,” he wrote.

The president also claimed that Iranian negotiators were pressing for a deal, asserting that their position had weakened following recent military developments.

Trump’s remarks come amid ongoing diplomatic efforts to de-escalate tensions, even as hostilities between Iran, the United States, and its allies continue across the region.

While Washington has signalled openness to negotiations, Tehran has yet to publicly confirm any direct engagement, maintaining a cautious stance as the crisis unfolds.
