Turkey: Er hails Iheanacho’s impressive start at Bursaspor

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Bursaspor head coach, Mustafa Er has heaped plaudits on Kelechi Iheanacho following his impressive start to life at the club.

Iheanacho linked up with the Green Crocodiles on a free transfer this summer.

The Nigeria international has been in fantastic form since his arrival at the club, playing a crucial role in their  promotion push.

The 30-year-old has registered 12 goals, and two assists in nine league appearances for Bursaspor.

Er said the striker has lived up to expectations after Bursaspor worked hard to secure his services.

“We transferred Iheanacho so that he would score goals. We worked very hard for that transfer. We also need to thank our management,” Er was quoted by the club’s official website.

“There was a lot of demand for him. The size of the club was also very important in his choosing us. We are getting the contribution we want.”
