Turkey: Vincenzo Montella won’t play Osimhen if he were Galatasaray’s coach – Şener

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Football commentator Ertem Şener has claimed that Turkey head coach Vincenzo Montella would not play Victor Osimhen if he were the manager of Galatasaray.

“If Vincenzo Montella were Galatasaray’s coach, he wouldn’t play Osimhen,” Şener said, as quoted by Galatasaray Gazetesi.

In February this year, Montella claimed that Osimhen is an “emotional leader” rather than a technical one for the club.

According to him, the Nigerian international is a player who changes the very face of the team.

Osimhen is currently recovering from a right adductor muscle strain and is expected to play for Galatasaray against Kasımpaşa in the Süper Lig on October 9.

The 27-year-old last played for Galatasaray on September 4 in their win against İstanbul Başakşehir F.K.
