Two tricycles, three vehicles involved in Adamawa road crash

Two tricycles and three other vehicles have been involved in a road crash on Girei Bridge in Adamawa State.

The Adamawa State Police Public Relations Officer, SP Suleiman Yahaya Nguroje, disclosed this in a statement issued on Wednesday, August 19, 2026.

According to the statement, the vehicles involved were a tipper truck, two cars and two tricycles.

The police said officers, alongside other emergency responders, promptly arrived at the scene and evacuated injured victims to hospital for medical attention.

The command confirmed that no deaths were recorded in the crash.

The Adamawa State Commissioner of Police, CP Kabir Umar Hassan, urged motorists to exercise caution, obey traffic regulations and avoid excessive speeding, particularly when driving on bridges and major highways.

He also advised road users to prioritise their safety and that of other motorists and commuters.
