U-17 WWCQ: Flamingos land in Abidjan for Guinea showdown

Nigeria’s Flamingos have arrived in Abidjan, Cote d’Ivoire ahead of their 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup qualifier against Guinea.

The contingent traveled aboard Asky Airlines from Lagos with a stopover in Lomé, Togo, before landing at the Félix Houphouët-Boigny International Airport in Abidjan.

The players and their officials are lodged at Seen Hotel, Abidjan.

Guinea will host the first leg at their makeshift home ground in Abidjan on Saturday.

Both teams will clash in the reverse fixture at the Remo Stars Stadium, Ikenne next week Saturday.

The overall winners will advance to the main tournament in Morocco later in the year.
