U-20 WWC: China’s Jiaxin expects tough duel against Falconets

China striker Huang Jiaxin is anticipating a tough duel against Nigeria’s Falconets, DAILY POST reports.

Wang Jun’s side opened their campaign at the 2026 FIFA U-20 Women’s World Cup with a comprehensive 5-0 victory over debutants New Caledonia on Monday afternoon.

Jiaxin bagged a hat-trick for the Asians in the Group F encounter.

China will now shift attention to their second group game against Nigeria, who opened their campaign with a 2-0 defeat to former champions Spain.

Jiaxin is looking forward to a difficult duel against the West Africans.

“I am very excited to help the team win the match. It is an honour to be top of the goalscoring standings and I am very happy to be the first player to score a hat-trick in this competition.

“Of course [I would like to win the Golden Boot award]. We now need to focus on our next match against Nigeria, which will be a tough game,” Jiaxin was quoted by FIFA.com.
