Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Zambia’s Copper Queens are expected to hit Algeria on Monday for their 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations final preparations.

The Copper Queens have spent the last two weeks in a local camp in Lusaka.

Assistant coach Charles Haalubono has been drilling the players during the local camp.

The team’s head coach Nora Elizabeth Häuptle will link up with the rest of the squad in Algeria.

The Copper Queens will play two friendly games against Algeria before flying on a chartered flight straight to Morocco for the competition.

Häuptle’s side are drawn in Group C alongside defending champions Nigeria, regional rivals Malawi, and Egypt.
