Super Falcons defender, Osinachi Ohale has declared the team ready for battle against Egypt, DAILY POST reports.
The defending champions will take on the Cleopatras in their last group game at the Olympic Stadium, Rabat on Wednesday night (today).
Justine Madugu’s side started the competition on a disappointing note, going down 3-2 against the Scorchers of Malawi.
The West Africans, however, bounced back, scraping past Zambia’s Copper Queens 1-0 in their second group fixture.
Nigeria will need an emphatic win against Egypt, and also a favourable result from the other Group C fixture between Malawi and Zambia to guarantee a place in the quarter-finals.
Ohale said they know the importance of the game, and will give their best to achieve victory.
”The game against Egypt is even more important than the first and second game we’ve played.
“We already know what is at stake, we know the importance of the game and we will take it with all seriousness and do better than our last game,” Ohale told a press conference in Rabat.
