Nigerian comedian and content creator, Carter Efe has claimed that Wizkid ignored a song he made for the singer, while Davido came into his life and helped him during a difficult period.
Carter made the comments while speaking about his experiences with both music stars, saying he would continue to appreciate Davido publicly for the support he received from him.
“I’ll keep praising Davido everywhere I go,” he said.
Carter claimed that Wizkid did not respond to a song he made for him, describing the experience as being completely ignored by the singer.
“Davido is my helper. I don’t give a fuck about Wizkid, that guy. I did a song for Wizkid, that guy snubbed my whole life,” Carter said.
He compared that experience with his relationship with Davido, saying the singer showed him support when things were difficult for him.
“Davido came to my life and changed my life in two seconds,” he said.
Carter said he did not consider himself important enough to expect Davido to spend time speaking with him, making the singer’s support even more significant to him.
“Who am I to say I want to sit down with Davido or he wants to be having conversations with me? I’m too small, but David shows me love,” he said.
He described Davido’s intervention as a major turning point for him.
“He came through. He’s just like a God-sent when things were going down for me,” Carter added.
