World Cup 2026: Seven managers lose jobs after elimination [FULL LIST]

Ghana coach, Carlos Queiroz, has become the seventh and latest manager to lose his job following the the Black Stars’ Round of 32 exit at the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Queiroz stepped down as Ghana head coach after three months in charge of the national football team.

Recall that Ghana failed to qualify for the Round of 16 after losing 1-0 against Colombia at the weekend.

However, in a statement posted on his social media accounts, Queiroz described his brief spell with Ghana as a journey of “pride”, insisting that his team had restored “respect and credibility” to the Black Stars on football’s biggest stage.

Queiroz now joined Julian Nagelsmann (Germany), Sebastián Beccacece (Ecuador), Ronald Koeman (Netherlands), Miroslav Koubek (Czechia), Steve Clarke (Scotland), and Hong Myung-bo(South Korea) in losing their jobs after their teams’ elimination fro the World Cup.
