Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Brazilian football legend, Romario has named the current best team in the world amid the ongoing FIFA World Cup tournament.

Speaking recently as a guest on RMC Sport, the 60-year-old named France as the best team in the world at the moment, ahead of the likes of Brazil and others.

Romario, however, admitted that he was happy with the performances of Brazil at the World Cup so far.

“I was very happy to play in the FIFA World Cup in the United States in 1994.

“That was 30 years ago, and now I am very happy and excited to be back here, especially to see the performance of the Brazilian team, who have improved a lot.

“The French team also impressed me a lot; in my opinion, they are currently the best team in the world.”

Both France and Brazil recently qualified for the World Cup Round of 32 stage.
