World Cup 2026: Thierry Henry names two players from another planet

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Former France striker, Thierry Henry, has identified Argentina captain Lionel Messi and Portugal captain Cristiano Ronaldo as the two players from another planet.

Henry stated this while on a Fox Sports program alongside former Sweden international Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Arsenal legend was speaking after Messi led Argentina to beat Algeria 3-0 in the World Cup encounter earlier today.

Recall that a hat-trick from the Inter Miami forward gave Argentina the victory against the North Africans.

“You all know Messi well, and we (Ibrahimovic) have also played alongside him,” Henry said.

“We must cherish these moments; there are truly fewer and fewer opportunities to watch him.”

“We said before the match that this man and the player we will see tomorrow (Cristiano Ronaldo) both seem to be from another planet.”
