World Cup final: They’re good – Brazil legend, Marcelo names country to win trophy

Daily Post about 1 hour 1 mins read

Brazil legend, Marcelo has named the country to win the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Argentina and Spain will clash in the World Cup final on Sunday at New York New Jersey Stadium, East Rutherford.

Both countries qualified for the World Cup final after beating England and France, respectively, in the semi-final.

However, Marcelo has now picked Spain to win the World Cup because the La Roja has good collective play.

The former Real Madrid captain said (as per CBS Sports Golazo): “I respect Argentina. But Spain, for me, has a good collective play, so I am going with Spain.”

Argentina won the last edition of the World Cup in 2022, while Spain won the World Cup in 2010 in South Africa.
