Yahaya Bello wins APC primary for Kogi West Senatorial seat

Daily Post about 2 hours 1 mins read

Immediate past Governor of Kogi State, Yahaya Bello, has emerged winner of the All Progressives Congress, APC, primary for Kogi Central Senatorial seat ahead of the 2027 elections.

The primary election, which was held, Monday had two other aspirants.

Those who contested with him were the APC Diaspora Secretary, Momoh Obaro and Ibrahim Yakubu Adoke.

This is coming after days of political tension and widespread rumours within party circles suggesting Bello’s screening process may have encountered complications, raising doubts over his eligibility for the contest.
