2026 U-17 WWC: Flamingos land in Casablanca, ready for action

Nigeria’s Flamingos have arrived in Casablanca, Morocco ahead of the 2026 FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup.

The contingent arrived Casablanca at 10.16 local time.

The team is currently lodged at Ibis Hotel, where they will settle in to prepare ahead of their FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup campaign.

Head coach Akeem Busari unveiled a 21-man player squad for the competition on Tuesday.

The Flamingos have been drawn in Group B with Poland, Puerto Rico, and North Korea.

Busari’s side will play their first match of the competition against Poland on 17th October, before further group phase matches against Puerto Rico and North Korea on 20th and 23rd October respectively.

Morocco will host the competition from 17th October to 8th October.
